Webinar Panel Session

Making Awards Rewarding: Getting the Best Out of an Arbitral Award
Date: Tuesday, February 13, 2024
Time: 4:00 PM CET
Please join us for a webinar hosted by Wolters Kluwer, ‘Making Awards Rewarding: Getting the Best out of an Arbitral Award’.

Commentaries and case law on arbitral awards usually focus on annulment or enforcement. However, the vast majority of awards do not go through these processes and the effectiveness of an award can be measured and ensured by various other means. This panel will explore other mechanisms related to awards, including their correction, interpretation, and remission, as well as the relevance of the doctrines of res judicata and lis pendens.

The speakers will highlight nuanced perspectives, including those of counsel, arbitrators, and arbitral institutions. They will also share their practical experiences and discuss pitfalls. Participants are encouraged to drop questions and issues of interest to them along with the registration form so that the speakers may address them during the session.

Join the session and the conversation by signing up via the form.
